Some time capsules are packaged in cool little containers that surprise and delight after decades. This one came in the form of a not-so-delightful 1980’s bathroom complete with eccentric tile, mirrors on every unnecessary surface, and angled ceilings. Plus, poor space planning left these empty nesters dreaming of a more accessible oasis.
Budget: $70K to $100K

We reconfigured this space to improve ease-of-use by including in-suite laundry, a zero-entry shower with a bench, and a spacious water closet.
Pairing light and bright materials with contemporary design elements transforms this “Hall of Mirrors” into a soothing escape where the clients – after many years of caring for others – can finally pamper themselves.
