Midcentury Modern Bath

This Worthington home had mid-century-modern features and the remnants of a previous Japanese-style remodel. The original primary bath also served as the main floor powder room, which was not ideal for the current homeowners. In reimagining this bathroom, we wanted to give the homeowners a private space with elevated features that are as beautiful as they are functional.

To bring this design to life, we reconfigured the master bedroom, moved access points, and added a new door to the bathroom. Mid-century-modern elements bring the space back in harmony with other parts of the home. The new shower area includes a clever shaving shelf and gorgeous grab bars cleverly disguised as towel bars to allow for living in place as time passes.
