Modern Revival
Before & After
This 1970s Upper Arlington ranch was completely transformed, inside and out. The front elevation was redesigned to enhance curb appeal and provide greater flexibility in the interior layout. By swapping the Kitchen and Dining Room and removing partially load-bearing walls, the main living spaces gained a more open, natural flow. A dry bar with a beverage center and wine storage was added to the Dining Room. Decorative open shelving throughout showcases the homeowner’s collectibles and travel mementos. Original hardwood floors were seamlessly patched and refinished, while the weathered Terrazzo in the front entry was restored to preserve its character.
Plans & Renderings
The design blended modern elegance with timeless materials. White oak cabinets paired with painted wood created warmth and contrast. Cambria quartz countertops extended into a full-height backsplash for a seamless look. Brushed brass fixtures added a touch of sophistication, tying together the thoughtful planning and cohesive material palette throughout the space.
